Is this a beginner writing course?

No. RefinEd is an editing course, not a writing fundamentals class. You should already be writing regularly, be proficient with the language [English] and be comfortable completing drafts.

Do I need to be published to take this course?

No. Publication is not required. Commitment and willingness to engage deeply with revision matter far more.

Will I be editing my own manuscript?

No. This course uses a shared practice novella so learning stays focused on skill-building rather than emotional attachment.
